Julianne Moore as President Alma Coin

President Alma Coin was the leader of the hidden District 13, district behind orchestrating the second rebellion against the Capitol. She lost her family in a smallpox epidemic and has made her cold-hearted. Alma Coin proved herself as a powerful and persuasive leader at first and even used Katniss as the Mockingjay to gain support and control form of the rebellion.

Although she seemed to be a protagonist, she was revealed by Katniss as the true enemy. She was a corrupt and ambitious woman, seeking the destruction of the Capitol, the districts (regardless of the civilians), and President Snow. Finally, she became the one great leader in the end.

Katniss saw President Coin's true intentions and turned against her. She killed her with a strong arrow on the day of President Snow's execution. The death of her beloved sister, Prim, caused Katniss's change of heart. This happened at a bombing authorized by President Coin.

Mockingjay, may your aim be as true as your heart is pure."
